TITLE: Customer Service Representative

REPORTS TO/EVALUATIONS: Technical Assistance Coordinator –Daily operations / Executive Director - Annual evaluations by the Executive Director

JOB GOALS: To assure smooth, efficient and accurate customer interaction so that the office’s maximum positive impact of customer relations can be realized.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High School Diploma or its equivalent, associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. 
  2. High degree of proficiency in office procedures, office electronics and machines including clerical support such as paper and electronic filing, Cisco IP phone systems, video conferencing and other general office equipment. 
  3. Knowledge and practical experience regarding basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint and Google Applications 
  4. Must maintain confidentiality at all times. 
  5. Be of high moral character and good attendance record. 
  6. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  7. Polite, courteous and tactful with the vendors, customers, and public.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Keep office open during designated office hours. 
  2. Facilitate in-office retail sales and phone inquiries. 
  3. Operate computers, scanners, calculators and any other office machines. 
  4. Open and sort all regular mail and review incoming fax logs. 
  5. Input Leads in PowerCode (proprietary on-line management system). 
  6. Maintain customer database. 
  7. Proficient in standard productivity software programs. 
  8. Proficient in learning new computer software programs. 
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Walking: 2-4 Hours/Day Stairs: Rarely

Standing: 2-4 Hours/Day Bending: Occasionally

Sitting: 6-8 Hours/Day Lifting: (Up to 30 lbs) Occasionally

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Employment at will; Salary and benefits per negotiated agreement. Office is located in Arlington, Georgia.
